Introduction

Initiated into the Legacy, second generation, Nick knew Derek before he was on his team. Now, having accepted the position of Precept for the recently rebuilt House on Angel Island, he runs things much as Derek had, with the support of new friend and ally within the Legacy, Skylar Madison.  He would do anything for Derek, and has every intention of turning the reigns back to his mentor as soon as Derek is ready.

Brief History

He doesn’t trust easily, but once he considers you friend, he’ll go to the matt for you.  He’s kept Derek’s return secret, until recently, when it was safe to reveal Derek was back, to his former team mates.  He thinks of Alex as a sister, and Rachel as an almost aunt.  Rachel’s daughter, Kat, is someone he also considers family.

He’s had hard times, but it’s shaped into someone with a sense of honor, and makes him want to do right by others.  That doesn’t mean he would hesitate to kick someone’s ass that needed it, especially to protect those that cannot protect themselves, and for those he considers family.

Brash, witty with the puns and Three Stooges references, he becomes part of the Security team for the San Francisco House, working with Julia Walker.  He comes from a middle class family but it wasn’t revealed until later, in his adult years and to Derek, that his father was abusive towards his family behind closed door, and had a habit for the drink.  Thankfully, Nick used his father’s actions and behaviors to learn what *not* to be when he grew up.

Current

Before Derek's return he was doing the day-to-day handling of Legacy and Luna Foundation business back home on Angel Island, but gratefully handed over the reigns once Derek was back on his feet and ready to take lead of the Legacy.  He is head of Security and working on his relationship with Julia, who had been returned to them.  Is balancing protecting the family he considers his own, with keeping tabs on Alex and her progress in getting healthy again.
